Epicentre - Azeroth.
News of the disaster was swiftly spammed by thousands of heartbroken Retribution Paladins. Victims were seen wandering around aimlessly, muttering, "Hammah of Justeece!" and "Bubble and hearth!". The nerf decimated the class, causing approximately 100,000,000g worth of emotional damage in psychiatrists fees and triggering massive sales of tissues and My Chemical Romance CDs.
Burst damage was destroyed beyond repair. All battlegrounds and arenas were disturbed and many gladiators were allowed to live for more than four seconds, causing many to wonder "Why am I still breathing?". Local newspapers reported that hundreds of Death Knights, Mages and Warriors were confused and bewildered by the fact that something had been nerfed and it didn't belong to them.
One resident - Tyronius Lighthammer, a level 69 Human Paladin said, "It was such a shock; I ran up to a level 75 Death Knight, used Hammer of Justice, and he was still alive when it wore off. I was so shocked! I was still shaking when I was queuing for the next battleground!".
However, on the positive side, ridiculous healing and complete immunity remains untouched. The Argent Crusade has so far managed to ship 4,000 crates of Scrolls of Enchant: Crusader into the cities worldwide to help the stricken Paladins. Blizzard GMs are still searching through the QQ threads and nerf whines on the official Paladin forums and have yet to find any solid or logical reason for not nerfing Exorcism to the ground (baby!).
How Can You Help?
This appeal is to raise money for respecs and regemming for those unfortunate to be caught up in this disaster. Clothing is most sought after and those items needed most include:
+Healing greens and blues (with or without sockets)
+Titansteel weapons of all kinds
+Mana Potions and Health Potions to help with the inevitable onslaught that this will surely bring about
+Nigh Invulnerability Belts
Monetary donations are also required:
• Just 22c buys a tissue for a crying Paladin.
• 2g buys drink to last a Paladin two weeks.
